Solid experience, good food

I placed an online order for a Bento Box and some Dynamite Rolls last week. The website was easy enough to navigate and the ordering process was smooth. Delivery took about 45 minutes to my place in Calgary, which was reasonable. The food itself was good quality; the Bento Box had a nice variety and the rolls were fresh. I had a quick question about my order confirmation and used their online chat support, they responded within a few minutes and were helpful. Everything arrived as expected, neatly packaged. I appreciate the consistent quality and decent service. I'll probably try their Poke Bowls next time.

Good value for lunch special

I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken lunch special. It was a pretty good deal, especially with the 25% off online order discount. It felt like I got a solid meal for what I paid. Saved a few bucks which always helps the budget.

So fresh, will order again!

I just had the Salmon Sashimi and it was amazing! So fresh and delicious, the best I've had in a while. The delivery was quick too, came even faster than expected. I'm definitely going to be ordering from Kinjo again soon. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

What's good for a first-timer at Kinjo?

C CalgaryFoodie 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
California rolls and dynamite rolls are classic for a reason. Can't go wrong.

If you're feeling a bit adventurous but not too crazy, try the Chicken Karaage. It's fried chicken, hard to dislike.

Their Karaage is legit.

Kinjo Party Trays or just order a bunch of rolls separately?

D DealHunterDave 6 days ago ✓ Best Answer
Party trays are usually better value, especially if you can snag that 25% off online order code.

S SavvyShopper 6 days ago
Yep, check their site or sign up for the newsletter.

P PartyPlannerYYC 6 days ago
Wait, is there still a 25% off code?

E EasyEater 6 days ago
I always do the trays. Less hassle.

P PickyEaterPro 6 days ago
Depends on what everyone wants. If you have picky eaters, individual rolls might be better so you can customize.

P PartyPlannerYYC 6 days ago
Good point, we have some people who only eat California rolls.

S SashimiLover 6 days ago
I got a sashimi platter last time, and it was fresh. For more variety, maybe a tray plus a few extra specific rolls?

M MixAndMatch 6 days ago
That's a good compromise.

Is Kinjo sushi any good compared to, say, Midori? I'm debating where to order for a family dinner tonight, looking for something reliable.

A Amber Patel 2 months ago
Kinjo is pretty solid for a chain, definitely reliable. Their dynamite rolls are a crowd-pleaser and the portions are decent. Midori can be a bit more 'fancy' sometimes but Kinjo is great for a casual family thing.

I'd go with Kinjo, especially if you're getting a bunch of different things. Their platters are good value and the ramen is surprisingly decent too. Midori has some good stuff but Kinjo feels more consistent across the board, imo.

Hey, wondering if anyone knows how to get the 25% off for online orders? Is there a code I need to type in or does it just apply automatically?

L Laura Osei 2 months ago
Nah, you don't need a code for the 25% off online. It usually just shows up when you order directly through their website, like the price is already discounted.

M Mia Kim 2 months ago
Yeah, what they said. Just make sure you're ordering from Kinjo's actual site, not a third-party delivery app. That's how I always get it.
